JOFFREY EXPERIENCE 2018
TECH QUESTIONNAIRE

Hello everyone!

My name is Kate Ashton and I am the Lighting Designer for the Joffrey Experience 2018 at GKA. I'm really looking forward to working with all of you!

I am writing to request any technical information about your piece that you have.
I totally understand at this point you may not know the answers to any (or all!) of these questions - so just answer what you can.
Please fill in the questionnaire below to provide your technical information.
Please complete it by Friday, August 10, 2018.

A few things to keep in mind as you create your pieces:
THEATRE DIMENSIONS: The theatre is 38'-0" wide and 30'-0" deep. There are 5 wings. There is no crossover.
SOUND: We cannot accept Spotify or iTunes files. Please submit files before Friday, August 17, 2018.
LIGHTING: Please feel free to let me know if you have special lighting requests. These can be as simple as, "My piece feels red!" or more complicated, such as suggesting cues or looks. If you don't have any ideas, not to worry! I can take care of everything for you if you prefer.
In terms of lighting, because of time, we are limited to the repertory light plot; however, if you have special needs, please let me know and we will try to accommodate you.
Additionally, we are trying to limit and simplify lighting cues because the tech time is so short.
So please, when you are thinking of any lighting ideas and cues, keep this in mind.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

Thank you!

Kate
