Kate's Yarn Store Map

Some of my favorite knitting books:
One Skein Wonders, edited by Judith Durant: Some fantastic patterns, including the GreenLeaf Hat, Warm Heart Vest, and Elephant Blanket. There's something for everyone in here. Clear instructions and drawings about special techniques that I frequently photocopy to use as a reference with other patterns.
Simple Knits for Cherished Babies, by Erika Knight: Lovely, sweet patterns with a vintage feel in luxurious yarns. Sometimes the instructions are a bit opaque, but all of the knits are cozy and classic. I look forward to making more of these patterns.
Itty Bitty Hats, by Susan B. Anderson: Chock full of cute hat patterns. I can't get enough of the Bunny Tail Hat. Some of these don't appeal to me, but there are lots that do! The spiral bound nature of this book makes it really easy to work with.
Sweet Pickles: 27 Adorable Knits for Babies & Toddlers, by Anna Enge and Heidi Gronvald: One of the first knitting pattern books that I picked up. Lots of opportunity to explore color work.
